Now it's time for the animated clone helmet. Season 7 clone wars is epic!

This will be the longest print so far 5 day 17 hours. 10% in so far so good.
I've dialed the printer in more but still getting the spider webbing. It just brushes off but I'm sure I could get it better.

Peeled the masking tape off! Stoked with the results. Liquid mask worked a treat (sponge application). Will get the mic tips and greebies painted and on tonight and weathering next weekend. .

Almost there!
I think I have the Ashoka stripes laid out well. I ripped the tape in half to try and give the paint job a similar effect to the art work. I will use a bit of masking liquid on the high spots too.
Still working out how wide to make the 9 blue stripes on the side of the helmet. .

I did notice the printer is too close to the window a little bit of the resin started to cure as I pulled it out of the printer. I did have the printer set up on the less sunny side of the house before. .

Got the printer up and running. Print time 1 day 23 hours. That's just for part 1 of 4. Split into front, back, dome, and greeblies.
I do need to optimize the retraction to reduce the spider webbing but the print is going well. Looking forward to getting home!
